Tigres scored five runs in the failed comeback on a home run by Brian Williams in the fourth, a error in the fourth, a single by Fernando Colmenares in the fifth, and a double by Omar Rodarte in the eighth.

- It came down to the last play, but Tigres was on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Team USA on Sunday. The game was tied at six with Team USA batting in the bottom of the ninth when Nate Cole's sac fly scored one run for Team USA.
- Tigres fell behind by four runs in the first inning, but then tried to fight back.
