7/18/2021Tigres Defeats Dodgers in a Blow-Out Victory
Tigres had everything working on Monday, winning big over Dodgers 11-3 Dodgers opened up scoring in the first inning. An error scored one run for Dodgers. Tigres took the lead for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Daniel Recio singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run, Randy Rubio singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs, and Oscar Muñoz doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Tigres put up five runs in the fifth inning. Adrian Garcia, Recio, Muñoz, and Sam Goreil each drove in runs during the inning. Andy Rosales got the win for Tigres. The hurler surrendered zero runs on two hits over five innings, striking out six and walking zero. Brian Williams threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. - Sunday's game against Team USA was a heartbreaker for Tigres, as they lost the lead late in a 4-2 defeat. The game was tied at two with Team USA batting in the bottom of the seventh when Brian Williams induced Joshua Mendoza to hit into a fielder's choice, but two runs scored.

- Tigres notched five runs in the ninth inning. Garcia, Fernando Colmenares, and Luke Madden powered the big inning with RBIs.
